Cindy Fox Aisen
I am a news junkie!
I have worked with the IU School of Medicine public and media relations office with a primary focus on national media since 1997. I also handle media relations and related activities for the Regenstrief Institute, Inc.
A former foreign service officer (responsible for embassy press and radio/tv sections) and public affairs advisor with the US Department of State, I am a graduate of Smith College and hold a PhD from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of Tufts University. Before coming to the Hoosier State in the mid-nineties, I was the national media manager of the University of Michigan Medical Center.
I describe myself as the ultimate “arts and sciences–ophile” interested in everything and always eager to discover more. That’s what makes learning, writing and communicating about the wide variety of faculty research and other activities so much fun.
I cover the Regenstrief Institute, aging issues, and medical informatics.
